Which size should I order?
Go by the Bust measurement in the chart, not your usual letter. The cut is generous — S is already 42.5″ around the chest and XXL reaches 53.5″. If you normally wear M and want it close to the body, S may be closer than you expect.
How dramatic are the ruffles?
Properly theatrical — a ruffled jabot at the high neck and matching ruffles at the cuffs, which is exactly the classic horror silhouette. Tap the detail photos above to see the collar and cuff up close.
Is it costume-only, or wearable?
Both. Tucked into black trousers with a waistcoat it reads as period formalwear; loose over jeans it's just a dramatic shirt. The polyester–cotton blend holds the ruffle shape rather than going limp after one wear.
How do I care for it?
Machine wash cold inside-out on a gentle cycle and hang to dry. A cool iron on the body only — keep direct heat off the ruffles so they keep their shape.
